I love book reviewing and still get a thrill out of receiving free books in the post, though I ran out of shelf space long ago. I review mainly for the Sunday Times, but also for the Daily Telegraph, Times Literary Supplement and Literary Review.
As a freelance editor/proofreader, I’ve worked with many authors, across fiction and non-fiction. Books worked on include the 2018 Booker Prize winner, Milkman, by Anna Burns; Small Things Like These by Claire Keegan (shortlisted for the Booker Prize 2022), Normal People by Sally Rooney (longlisted for the Booker Prize 2018; Waterstones Book of the Year 2018), and Andrew O’Hagan’s Mayflies (Waterstones Scottish Book of the Year 2021).
